19 Nebraskans Attend CCL Conference Opening in Washington, D.C.

Nebraskans from across the state joined over 1,500 citizens in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, June 9th, 2019 for the 10th annual Citizens’ Climate International Conference. The event culminates with a Lobby Day on Capitol Hill where ordinary citizens meet with congress members and their staff to discuss bipartisan climate action.

The was the first conference with a bill currently in Congress, the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act.

The event also included 600 students and 72 minors.
